IsoCards 1.2 submitted
31 Aug
I just submitted an update to IsoCards for the iPhone and iPad. This release contains two new features, and a bunch of bug and stability fixes.
In this update you can now try any of the in-app purchases exactly once before buying. So far the most popular in app purchase has been Speed, so give it a try with a friend and see how much fun it is.
You can also now remove poker chips in “free cards” mode. This was a huge oversight on my part when I introduced poker chips. To remove a chip, just bring up the poker chips screen from the menu, and drop the chip into the “drop to remove” area.
The bug fixes and stability enhancements include:
- Cards that are face up when passed back and forth between devices will remain face up
- Poker chips are a little smaller.
- Fixed a bug where sometimes a card would go shooting off in a random direction if picked up and set down immediately.
- Improved “cup to reveal” detection.
- Fixed some misc. bugs and crashes.
The next release will contain a new suite of card games, both solitaire games and multiplayer games. If you don’t already have IsoCards, just click the big App Store button below. It’s a universal app for your iPhone and iPad.

Love ISOcards and the new hand feature! My fantasy update would be a texas hold em game. It would ideally have an auto shuffle/deal, and much bigger cards for the flop, river and turn (so a table of 10 could all see). Basically an automated dealer for home games. I am assuming all players are using iPhones, so the space “wasted” on screen for the dealt cards could be done away with. Players to the end of a hand would be able to show their hole cards. But don’t bother with chips. Everybody loves to hold actaul chips. The ipad would go around the table instead of the cards, and we take care of our own blinds and chips. Just an auto dealer. You could easily charge $5 for this if the implementation is spot on! Would love to help beta test it for you…
Hey, thanks for the kind words. I would love to make a hold ‘em game for IsoCards. I’m trying to clear up some existing projects so I can make some much needed improvements to IsoCards. I will keep updating the blog with any progress I make.
Hi I just bought your app I like it but it really has little use to me until you update with a better Texas Holdem capabilities.A texas holdem preset would be so awesome! Having an automated dealer and better chip manipulation such as controlling your stack through your iphone and just use the ipad for a community board. I like that you can see your 2 hole cards via the iphone so no one else can see. I know an automated dealer would take some work but I guarantee you this: all the live AND online poker players will snatch this up like crazy equaling crazy $ $ $ $ for you!! Your so close to making this happen!!!
